Join us for an unforgettable evening as The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
comes to life beneath the autumn skies.
Presented through the exceptional talents of the
Kankakee Valley Theatre Association, this immersive outdoor
experience has become a cherished seasonal tradition for families and
visitors alike.
Time Slots
Timed entry every 30 minutes; shows run 60 minutes.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in at the Pavilion.
Tickets
$20 per ticket. Ages 2 & under are free if seated on a
guest’s lap. No discounts.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your entry window for check-in at the
Pavilion. Performances typically sell out—buy early. Choose your night and
entry time below. Online purchase is recommended; limited on-site
availability may be offered if performances are not sold out.

What to Expect
Live Storytelling
Kankakee Valley Theatre Association performers bring our adaptation of
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow to life. The experience is
family-friendly spooky—not gory.
Headless Horseman
Watch for the iconic appearance of the Headless Horseman and horse during
the carriage ride.
Sleepy Village Returns!
More information is coming soon. Look forward to even more games and prizes
this year.
Bonfire & Music
The Champagne Experience will be playing each night.
Ichabod’s Outpost
Shop event merchandise, Halloween goodies, and visit the Teddy Mountain
station.

Event Policies
Weather & Rainout
We continuously monitor weather on show days. A delay or cancellation
decision will be made no later than 60 minutes prior to showtime unless
severe weather requires an immediate decision.
Performances will be canceled if lightning is detected within a 10-mile
radius within 30 minutes of showtime or during the performance, or if heavy
rain, flooding, unsafe field or stage conditions, high winds, or other
hazardous weather create unsafe circumstances.
If a cancellation occurs, we’ll notify ticket holders through the BTPD
website and social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram.
No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations. If a
performance is canceled prior to showtime, tickets may be honored for a
designated rain date or exchanged for another showtime that same evening,
if available.
If a performance is canceled after showtime begins, the show is considered
complete and no exchanges will be offered. When possible, a rain date will
be scheduled and tickets will automatically transfer. If a rain date cannot
be scheduled, tickets may be exchanged for another performance, subject to
availability.
The safety of Kankakee Valley Theatre Association performers, crew, and
guests is our highest priority. Guests are encouraged to bring rain gear.
