We are excited for you to utilize our premire Dog Park here in Kankakee County. Our gated and spacious dog park is an ideal location to bring your pet where they can get excercise, socialize with other dogs and engage in play with their owners. Our dog park requires an annual membership to access the park and memberships can be purchased at the Willowhaven Nature Center or Perry Farm House during normal business hours.

The Willowhaven Dog park has over 3 acres of open space, with natural grass and newly planted shade trees. Park enclosures include 5 foot high black chain link fenced areas that form 2 seperate play areas; one for dogs under 26 lbs. and another for dogs over 26lbs. The Dog Park includes a double gate for safely getting dogs in and out of the park. Access into the park is controlled with a membership access card and memebrs are required to show proof of vaccinations to ustilize the park. Water stations are available in both the large and small dog run areas so that your pup can stay hydrated (please note that water is shut off November through March). Waste stations and complimentary waste bags are available in both dog runs.
This off-leash dog park allows dogs to run free within a fenced area. A covered shelter with picnic tables and park benches within the dog park allows a shade structure and resting place for pets and owners.
The Willowhaven Dog Park is open to members everyday from sunrise to sunset.
Dog park members are required to provide proof of vaccinatinos for Rabies and the Distemper/Parvo combo (a.k.a. DAPP or DHPP vaccine). Click on the link below to find out more about dog park mememberships.
