We host a variety of programs to enrich the lives of our community’s youth and teens. Give your child a memorable summer by enrolling them in BTPD Summer Camp!  Daily activities and field trips will be planned by caring and experienced staff.  Campers will develop skills and knowledge in leisure activities including sports, arts & crafts, games and nature. They will develop social skills and assist in the development of a positive self-image. The overall goal is to have kids interact, learn and grow from these engaging hands on experiences.

Summer 2022 Camp Registrations begin Monday, April 4, 2022. Please visit one of our BTPD facilities to complete the initial registration. A registration packet and fee of $20 is due at the time of registration.

Summer Camp Open House is Thursday, May 5 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Recreation Station at 770 E. Franklin Street in Bradley, IL. Meet and greet with our camp counselors and learn what fun activities we have planned for the summer!

BTPD Day Camp runs 10 weeks, from June 6 through August 12 from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. 

Fee is for residents $40.00 / $44.00 for non-residents per day or $120.00 for residents/$135.00 for non-residents weekly. Additional fees for field trip, special guests/ inflatables may apply.  

To guarantee your spot in the summer camp, you must register and pay the $20.00 Non-refundable registration fee per camper in person.  Once registered, beginning May 5, you can log into your online account and select the days your camper(s) will attend camp.

Frequently asked Questions about Summer Camp:

1. Will campers be required to wear a facemask?

Answer: With summer camp being held outdoors where we are able to social distance better, face masks will not be required. However, when we are indoors facemasks will be required at locations that require them. At this time, mask wearing is optional at all BTPD facilities.

2. Will you be taking field trips this year?

Answer: Yes!

3. Will my child have to attend a minimum of 3 days a week?

Answer: No minimum number of days is required. Children can attend from 1-5 days a week. 

4. Can I register online?

Answer: Unfortunately, the initial registration has to be done in person, as there is required paperwork that is due at the time of registration. After the initial registration, you will be able to register your child for the days they will be at camp online.

5. When can I register my child for the days they will be attending camp?

Answer: Camp dates will be open May 5, 2022. Registration for camp ends at noon the Friday before the week they attend. Due to staff ratios, we must have campers registered in advance.

6. Is there is a discount for registering for the whole summer?

Answer: No, unfortunately there is no discount when registering for the whole summer.

7. Will you provide transportation if my child attends summer school?

Answer: No, we do not have this service available for 2022.

8. If I register my child for camp and they are sick, will I be refunded for that day?

Answer: In the event that your child is sick, we will issue a household credit. However, we may ask for a Dr. note to issue the credit.

9. When does my child have to be registered?

Answer: Registration ends at 12:00 p.m. on Fridays for the following week. We staff our summer camp according to our attendance numbers. If your child is not registered by the 12:00 p.m. deadline on Fridays, we can’t guarantee there will be a space for your child. There will also be a late registration fee of $15 per child. This applies whether you register for 1-5 days during the week.

10. When will camp end?

Answer: Camp runs through August 12, 2022.

Before & After School programs are designed to give students from Bourbonnais, Bradley and St. George Schools a place to go before and after school. Children will experience supervised activities, free play, crafts, homework time & assistance, and a snack. Transportation to and from the child’s school is provided. There will be no registrations taken at the door.

K-5th grades

  • Program registration begins Monday July 26.
  • Registration for the program MUST be done in person at any Park District facility during their business hours (No phone registrations).
  • All past balences and registration fees are due at the time of registration.
  • All paperwork MUST be completed at the time of registration. 
  • There is no minimum number of days to attend the program.


  • Registration Fee: $20 (first child)

  • Before School Fee: $6/day/child

    • Early dismissals are additional (these fees can be found in our Parent Handbooks that are under the Youth/Teen section of the website)
  • We are bringing back the 20 day punch passes (there are no refunds on unused days)
    • Before School Punch Pass: $110
    • After School Punch Pass: $220
    • Siblings can share a punch pass (it will just be depleted quicker)

Are the kids out of school but you can't take the time off work? This program is designed to provide an activity filled day while the kids are out of school. They will enjoy many activities including games, crafts, free play, field trips, and movies in a safe and friendly environment. This program is separate from Before and After School, so please be sure to register separately.

Children must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian. LUNCH IS NOT PROVIDED, so please send your child with a sack lunch! Due to staff availability you must be registered the day before in order to attend the program. Children cannot be dropped off the morning of, there are no exceptions. 

School Break Day program starts at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.
