We hosts a variety of programs to enrich the lives of our community’s youth and teens. Whether they are into art, cooking, games, or learning a new skill, we strive to offer something for everyone. Before & After School programs are designed to give students from Bourbonnais, Bradley and St. George Schools a place to go before and after school. Children will experience supervised activities, free play, crafts, homework time & assistance, and a snack. Transportation to and from the child’s school is provided. There will be no registrations taken at the door.

You must register in advance for the days that you will need care (we will not allow drop ins). Registration ends at 5pm on Friday for the following week
Participants must be registered for at least 3 days a week to attend the program
Before Care 6:30-8:30am $6 per morning
After Care Release time-6pm $20 per afternoon
We will not be providing Before care for St. George school this year
All students who are attending After care will need to bring a lunch with them (sack lunch or grab and go from school)

Are the kids out of school but you can't take the time off work? This program is designed to provide an activity filled day while the kids are out of school. They will enjoy many activities including games, crafts, free play, field trips, and movies in a safe and friendly environment. This program is separate from Before and After School, so please be sure to register separately.
Children must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian. LUNCH IS NOT PROVIDED, so please send your child with a sack lunch! Due to staff availability you must be registered the day before in order to attend the program. Children cannot be dropped off the morning of, there are no exceptions. Before and after options are available.
School Break Day starts at 8:30a and ends at 4:00p for Residents $28 and Non-Residents $32 (per participant).
Before School starts at 6:30a and ends at 8:30a for $4 per participant.
After School starts at 4:00p and ends at 6:00p for $4 per participant.
Give your child a memorable summer by enrolling them in BTPD Summer Camp! Daily activities and field trips will be planned by caring and experienced staff. Campers will develop skills and knowledge in leisure activities including sports, arts & crafts, games and nature. They will develop social skills and assist in the development of a positive self-image. The overall goal is to have kids interact, learn and grow from these engaging hands on experiences.
Frequently asked Questions about Summer Camp:
1. Will campers be required to wear a face mask?
Answer: With summer camp being held outdoors where we are able to social distance better, face masks will not be required. However, when we are indoors face masks will be required.
2. Will you be taking field trips this year?
Answer: At this time guidelines regarding field trips have not been released, but our staff are checking every day. We will update this post when we know more about field trips. There will be an additional fee for field trips.
3. Will my child have to attend a minimum of 3 days a week?
Answer: The answer is yes at this time. This helps for us to contact trace in the event that a camper or counselor test positive.
4. Can I register online?
Answer: Unfortunately, the initial registration has to be done in person as there is required paperwork that is due at the time of registration. After the initial registration, you will be able to register your child for the days they will be at camp online.
5. When can I register my child for the days they will be attending camp?
Answer: We will open up the calendar on Wednesday May 5 during our Summer Camp Open House. After 6:30pm on this day you will have access to the calendar to choose the days/weeks your child will be at camp.
6. Is there is a discount for registering for the whole summer?
Answer: No, unfortunately there is no discount when registering for the whole summer.
7. Will you provide transportation if my child attends summer school?
Answer: This is something we are looking at providing for an additional fee. The decision will depend on the schedules for summer school.
8. If I register my child for camp and they are sick, will I be refunded for that day?
Answer: In the event that your child is sick, we will issue a household credit. However, we may ask for a Dr. note to issue the credit.
9. When does my child have to be registered by?
Answer: Registration ends at 12pm on Fridays for the following week. We staff our summer camp according to our attendance numbers. If your child is not registered by the 12pm deadline on Fridays, we can’t guarantee there will be a space for your child. There will also be a late registration fee of $15 per child. This applies whether you register for 3, 4 or 5 days.
10. When will camp begin?
Answer: The first day of camp is Monday June 14.
