We offer a range of Early Childhood programs that meet the needs of each child.  We provide children an engaging environment where they can socialize, learn, and have fun. There is plenty of opportunity to prepare your child for kindergarten or introduce them to a new social experience.

Preschool BeforeandAfterschoolProgram

Welcome to the Bourbonnais Township Park District Preschool. We are thrilled that you have chosen us to become part of your child’s education and developmental process. It is our intention to provide your child with a safe and stimulating environment that will help him/her develop to their fullest potential. Our focus is to accept each child as an individual and to consider all areas of their growth: physical, emotional, social, and intellectual.

Ever wonder what we teach your child?
Our curriculum reflects Illinois State Standards for Early Learning. Our goal is to incorporate the Seven Domains of Learning within the curriculum and focus on the development of the whole child.

The Seven Domains of Learning:

  1. Personal and Social Development
  2. Language Arts
  3. Mathematics
  4. Science
  5. Social Science
  6. Fine Arts
  7. Physical Development and Health

Requirements that we want you to be aware of:

  • Proof of residency
  • Birth certificate
  • Completed background forms
  • Health form
  • Immunizations required for DPT, Polio, TB, MMR competed by a physician
  • Must be 3 or 4 years of age by September 1, and toilet independent, no exceptions

A non-refundable $40 registration fee is required at the time of registration if registered before September 13. After September 13, registration fee is $50. Please schedule a time to stop in to see the facility, classrooms, teachers, and to pick up information packets and information folder.

Preschool BeforeandAfterschoolProgram

Let us care for your preschooler before, after, or in-between their preschool session.  Activities planned will include, games, art, circle time, centers, and more.

  • Registration will open Friday, August 5: In person registration only

  • All fees and paperwork is due at the time of registration

  • Limited available spots for Before and After School

  • Punch passes available for Before, In Between and After Preschool

  • You must register in advance for the days that you will need care (we will not allow drop ins). Registration ends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday for the following week

  • Before Preschool Care $6/Day (child must attend AM preschool classes either at a school district or the park district preschool classes). We do not provide transportation to or from local preschools

  • In Between Preschool Care 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - $18/Resident $21/NonResident (we do not provide transportation from area schools)

  • After Preschool Care 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. $12/Day

  • We will not be providing Before care for St. George school this year

  • If you child will be attending the In Between Preschool program, they must bring a lunch with them.  Lunch is not provided.

Summer Camp

Enjoy a day at the Recreation Station by playing games, singing songs, and learning about new and fascinating things. Not only will your little one be socializing and engaging with hands on learning processes but there will also be mini lessons and art projects are done daily.  This class can include field trips and many other outdoor activities.
