Bourbonnais Township Park District welcomes you back for another year of our favorite annual Thanksgiving tradition—Turkey Trot at Perry Farm Park!

This family-friendly event features a 10K run (6.2 miles), a 5K run (3.1 miles), and a 2-mile walk through the scenic trails of Perry Farm Park. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or simply enjoying a morning outdoors with family and friends, there’s something for everyone.

Think you can predict your finish time? Make your best guess when you register. The participant whose actual finish time is closest to their predicted time will win a turkey!

Registration Information

• Early Bird Registration: $25 (through Sunday, October 25)
• Standard Registration: $30 (October 26 – November 8)
• Race Day Registration: $40 (November 13 & 14)

Register by Sunday, October 25 to guarantee your race shirt. Registrations received after October 25 will receive a shirt while supplies last.

Pre-registration closes Sunday, November 8, at midnight.

After the pre-registration deadline, participants may register:

• Friday, November 13: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Exploration Station
• Saturday, November 14: Beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Perry Farm Park

Participants under the age of 16 must be registered by an adult.

Race Day Schedule

7:30 a.m. – On-site registration opens

9:00 a.m. – 5K Run, 10K Run, and 2-Mile Walk begin

Awards will be presented to the top finishers in each race division by age group and gender.
