We offer a range of Early Childhood programs that meet the needs of each child. We provide children an engaging environment where they can socialize, learn and have fun.

There is plenty of opportunity to prepare your child for kindergarten or introduce them to a new social experience.

General Preschool Programs

Welcome to the Bourbonnais Township Park District Preschool. We are thrilled that you have chosen us to become part of your child’s education and developmental process. It is our intention to provide your child with a safe and stimulating environment that will help him/her develop to their fullest potential. Our focus is to accept each child as an individual and to consider all areas of their growth: physical, emotional, social and intellectual.

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year begins May 1, 2026.

NEW: Play & Learn program from 1:00 – 3:00 PM – $9 per day.

Ever wonder what we teach your child?

Our curriculum reflects Illinois Early Learning & Development Standards. Our goal is to incorporate the Seven Domains of Learning within the curriculum and focus on the development of the whole child.

The Seven Domains of Learning:

  4. Science
  5. Social Studies
  6. The Arts
  7. Physical Development and Health

Requirements that we want you to be aware of:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Health  & Medical History Form
  • Must be 3 or 4 years of age by September 1, and toilet independent, no exceptions

A non-refundable $40 registration fee is required at the time of registration. Please schedule a time to stop in to see the facility, classrooms, teachers and to pick up information packets and information folders.

BTPD Preschool Camp

Enjoy a day at the Recreation Station by playing games, singing songs and learning about new and fascinating things. Not only will your little one be socializing and engaging with hands on learning processes but there will also be mini lessons and art projects are done daily.
