Sunday, June 12, 2022- 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The Bourbonnais Township Park District is excited to bring back one of our most popular events we have ever hosted, “Dog Day Afternoon!”  We look forward to the community joining us on Sunday, June 12, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the popular Perry Farm Park which lies in the heart of the Bradley and Bourbonnais communities.

The goal of Dog Day Afternoon is to provide educational and recreational opportunities for dogs and their owners.  We want to offer a location where people can come for expert advice, quality treats, and services for their beloved furry family members!

The event will feature pet adoption agencies, educational presentations, police K-9 demonstrations, and vendors providing dog-related products. Attractions include a Doggie Treat Hunt, Doggie Fashion Show, and crowd favorite Doggie Costume Contest.

Event admission is $2.00 per person/ All dogs are FREE

Sponsorship Opportunities

The Bourbonnais Township Park District would like to offer your business the opportunity to help support this widely popular event.  Prior to the pandemic, we would easily attract over 1,000 people from many surrounding counties in Illinois and Indiana.  There are many ways to help support through sponsorships, in -kind donations or hosting a booth at the event.

Vendor Opportunities

Calling all dog related vendors, we have an event just for you!

All exhibitors/vendors must provide goods or services, which relate to the theme of Dog Day Afternoon, a fun, family-oriented event that will inform participants of the goods and services available to them as pet owners. Vendor space is limited and participation selection will be made based on how you would help meet our goal.

Vendors wishing to participate can register online, at the Perry Farm house or through mail. Booth space are approx. 10' x 10' and are under a BTPD provided structure or tent with a picnic table as supplies last.
For Profit Vendor booth fees are $20.00 each. There is also an optional electricity fee of $25.00 for vendors requiring electrical access. To keep vendor fees low, we are asking all for profit vendors to provide a $25 value prize to the Dog Day Event Raffle or provide a 15- minute educational talk or demonstration at the event. Please fill out the event support questions when registering.

Vendor rules and regulations are provided in the application.
