Santa in the Barn

Santa is coming to the Perry Farm Barn for mini photo sessions from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.! Walk-ins welcome! Park district will provide a digital photo and kids are welcome to meet and greet with Santa. The Grinch is also planning on stopping out for some festive fun.Photos sessions will be taken on a first come, first serve basis & sessions are $15 per family (cash only please).

Ugly Christmas Sweater 5k Run/Walk

It's time to deck the Perry Farm Trails in your most outrageous Christmas sweater!
Join us for BTPD's first ever winter 5k run/walk! This race is all about bad style, gathering safely with friends and family and most importantly FUN!

You MUST be pre-registered to participate in this fun run/walk and to get your 5k shirt. There will be no walk ups taken day of so please register accordingly. We are limiting 25 runners/walkers to a time frame. If the 9 o'clock start fills up we will open other sections as needed. Please arrive a tad early to check in and pick up your race shirt, located under the pavilion

Ugly Christmas Sweater 5k ad

What better way to spend Valentine's Day than by touring different shops and businesses with our chocolate tour? The goal for this event is to turn 35 local businesses into Chocolate Tour Stops to be visited by your current and potentially new customers between 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m.

A Cause for Paw is a 2 mile walk and festival.  Located at Willowhaven Park & Nature Center this day full of fun activities for both dogs and humans will benefit Kankakee County Humane Foundation.

The Easter Bunny and his little ducky friend invite you and your little one to a free Easter Egg Extravaganza. Your child will be able to search for eggs that the Easter Bunny has left behind!


Art in the Park is a great way for parents and children to experience the art world together. Children are able to create art projects instructed by professional artists and parents are able to shop for unique, handcrafted fine arts and crafts. Proceeds from this festival will go to the Exploration Station!

We were very excited as we were bringing tethered Hot Air Balloon rides to Perry Farm Park!

In light of Governor Pritzker's recommendation to cancel all large scale events this summer - we have postponed this exciting event until June 2021! Something fun to look forward to!


FNO 2021

Summer Concert Series is a place where you can sit back and enjoy the music. Hosted every Tuesday between the end of June and all of July, you will not be disappointed with the phenomenal artists we bring in at Perry Farm.

You can participate by creating your own scarecrow or by voting on which one you love best. Either way, this is a great way to get your loved one(s) to get involved in some fall fun.

The Headless Horseman will be riding through the trails of Sleepy Hollow and we dare you to venture out into the dark of night at Perry Farm Park woods to listen for the Horseman himself. This ghoulish event has a haunted harvest maze, spooktacular activities in the always changing village and a thrilling re-enactment to experience.

Trot till you drop at this years Bourbonnais Township Park District Turkey Trot. This event helps foster kids and the awesome thing is, you can choose to walk or run. Our 5k, 10k and walking trails are beautiful this time of year.
