The Bourbonnais Township Park District Board of Commissioners approved new board leadership appointments and reappointments during its regular monthly board meeting held Monday, May 18.
Commissioner Jeff Mullinax was appointed President of the Board of Commissioners. Mullinax was elected to the Board in 2023 and previously served as Vice President beginning in 2024. Outgoing Board President David Zinanni will now serve as Vice President. Zinanni was elected to the Board of Commissioners in 2021 and has served as Board President since 2022.
The Board approved the reappointment of Jamie Boyd as District Attorney, Rob Romo as District Treasurer, and Amanda Langlois as Board Secretary.
“Commissioner Zinanni has played an important role in helping guide the district through years of growth of improvements,” commented Executive Director Mike O’Shea. “We appreciate his leadership and commitment as Board President. At the same time, we are excited to work alongside Jeff Mullinax in his new role. Jeff has already demonstrated strong leadership and dedication to the district, and we look forward to continuing the positive momentum together.”
Bourbonnais Township Park District Board of Commissioners oversees district policies, financial stewardship, long-range planning, and strategic direction for parks, facilities, recreation programs and events throughout the district.
