Youth Basketball Leauge

Sign up quick for Youth Basketball League!

In this league we will emphasize introducing and getting comfortable with the game of basketball. We will be creating an enjoyable environment while learning the basics. Players will work on developing fundamental skills and playing in their first basketball game! A youth sizes basketball will be used along with 6 ft. hoops. Teams will be formed at a random draw and each team will have practice prior to game time! Equal playing time is highly stressed in this league. *There are no officials so coaches will do their best to monitor to a certain extent so learning can still be done*

Important Info:

–               All Participants receive a new basketball team t-shirt and a new basketball to keep

–               Volunteer coaches are needed for each team, please contact youth@btpd.org if you have any interest in helping coach

–               Practice will be on Monday nights

–               Games will be on Saturday mornings

–               Practices Start (Monday) 1/13/25

–               Games start (Saturday) 1/18/25

–               All practices and games will be held at the Recreation Station 770 E Franklin, Bradley

–               Participants will be notified by their coaches of their practice and game schedule (info can also be found at BTPD.org > Youth Athletics > Basketball League

– A professional photographer will take individual and league pictures during the season (for an additional cost). This is optional.

Coaches Meeting Wednesday Jan 8, 2025, 6pm-7pm, at Recreation Station 770 E Franklin, Bradley.  Coaches will receive a team shirt as well.
