What's New at the District?

Happy Anniversary Exploration Station!
10 years ago, the dream to give Exploration Station...a children's museum a permanent home became a reality. Through countless hours of hard work and determination by Bourbonnais Township Park District Staff, Trustees, Board Commissioners, and volunteers, the doors to the children's museum were opened. The Exploration Station would like to invite you to help us celebrate 10 years in our facility on the Perry Farm Park. Throughout the week of October 21-27 we will offer special daily activities. Some of the activities will include face painting, scavenger hunts, appearences by the museum's panda mascott Bamboo and much more! Join us as we take a look back at the last 10 years, and continue to look to the future.

3rd Annual Craft Show & More!
Looking for that perfect Christmas gift with that hand-made or collectable feel? Well the Recreation Station will have just what you need at our 3rd annual Craft Show & More. Not only will we have vendors, but concessions as well. You can leave the kids at home or bring them along, surely there will be something for everyone!
