Our Mission: The Bourbonnais Township Park District is committed to providing outstanding parks, facilities, and leisure opportunities utilizing the environmental, historical and educational resources of the community as well as dedicated staff, sound management and community involvement.

The Bourbonnais Township Park District Board of Commissioners holds regular scheduled board meetings at 5:00 p.m. on the 4th Monday of each month at the Perry Farm House unless otherwise scheduled.

Freedom of Information

Freedom of Information Requests are accepted by personal delivery or mail to the Administrative Office at 459 N. Kennedy Drive, Bourbonnais, IL 60914 to the attention of the Freedom of Information Officer.

No requests shall be accepted nor responded to by use of a facisimile machine or electronic mail. All requests must be reduced to a written format using the freedom of Information Request Form and submitted to the Freedom of Information Officer. A copy of the Request for Public Records Offical Form is available to print and bring in.

A response will be made to the requesting party within seven (7) working days of receipt by the Freedom of Information Officer unless an extended time period is required. Requests shall be responded to in writing by the Freedom of Information Officer and transmitted via the United States Mail.

Certification of Copies

Some records possessed by the Park District are in book or pamphlet form. A charge may be assessed for such materials based upon the cost of the materials as incurred by the Park District. Recording tapes employed for use in transcription are not a public record of the Park District.
