Mondays & Tuesdays: Closed

Wednesday-Friday:
10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Saturday:
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Sunday:
(occasionally closed for private events)
12:00 - 5:00 p.m.

The Willowhaven Interpretive Center will be closed on the following date for private events:
July 18, Aug 1, 21-22, 28 & 29, Sept 12, 17, 18 & 25.
Seasonal and holiday hours may vary.

Rentals, Parties and Group visits are available on Mondays and Tuesdays with reservations.

Admission is free.

New Exhibits!
Stop out and check out our new Nature Displays! Our new animal exhibits feature a full size Grey Fox display, Wild Boar mounted head and skull, Stripped Skunk, Grey and Fox squirrel wall display and new full size Black Bear and skull!

2010-2011 School/Group programs Willowhaven Interpretive Center offers programs for Pre-K-12th grade on a variety of nature related topics. Programs are lead by interpretive center staff and are designed to meet Illinois Learning Standards. Click here for school/group programs available for 2010-2011! Willowhaven Rental Opportunities The Willowhaven Interpretive Center is a restored 1900's barn that transforms into a spectacular location to host a graduation, wedding, bridal or baby shower, family gathering, or business meeting. Stop out anytime during normal hours for a facility tour and if you are interested in renting the Willowhaven Center for a party or family function contact the facility event coordinator at (815) 933-9905 ext 472 or email to set up an appointment.
