Baby Chicks are coming to Willowhaven
Stop out to see our incubation and embryology exhibit on display
from April 16-May 9, 2008 at the Willowhaven Interpretive Center.
Learn how chicks develop inside the egg and see if you can catch
a glimpse at our chicks as they emerge fro their eggs. Hatching
is estimated to occur sometime after May 2, 2008.

2008 School/Group programs are here and specially
tailored to Illinois Learning Standards!
Willowhaven Interpretive Center offers programs for K-12th grade
on a variety of nature related topics. Programs are lead by interpretive
center staff and are designed to meet Illinois Learning Standards.
Some programs are seasonal and/or weather depending so please
contact the Willowhaven program coordinator for details and availability.

Programs run from
90 minutes to 2 hours long. Some porgram can be customized to
your classsroom needs.

Flower & Garden Show
Find inspiration for your home at the Bourbonnais Township Park
District's second annual flower and garden show. Discover unique
flowers and arrangement ideas and join in as gardening professionals
share their tips. Flower and Garden Show will have indoor and
outdoor vendors as well as free demonstrations and presentations.
For budding gardeners there will be activities at the Kid's Patch.
While you are here check out our Flower and Garden Show raffle
with gift certificates to local resturants, garden tools and gift
baskets. Raffle tickes are included with event admission.

designed to get children excited and interested in the natural world.
Participants will explore prairie, woodland and aquatic eco-systems
as well as participate in activities, games, crafts, field trips
