The Bourbonnais Township Park District is recognized as a premier park district with sufficient economic resources and community support to acquire and maintain the fist-class facilities and the highly skilled, passionate staff needed to provide quality recreational and educational opportunities that meet the diverse needs of the Bourbonnais Township residents.
The Park District is successful in its quest to preserve open spaces for future generations and to preserve its unique historical characteristics.
It stresses quality in all its endeavors, os committed to extraordinary customer service, is fiscally sound and operates in a sustainable manner that respects the environment.
Long-Term Strategic Goals
Goal 1: Be a premier park district that provides first-class programs, facilities, and services that meet the diverse needs of the district in an extraordinary manner.
Goal 2: Secure the financial resources necessary to consistently execute our mission in a first-class manner by cultivating alternative funding sources and community support.
Goal 3: Preserve open space for future generations through acquisitions, preservation of current open spaces and sustainability (green) initiatives.
Goal 4: Maintain the infrastructure necessary to effectively execute our mission.
