Registration Information
Program titles and a short program description are provided in our recreation guides and flyers. Pertinent information such as age, dates, times, locations and fees are indicated beneath each description. Fees are dependant upon resident versus non-resident status within Bourbonnais Township boundaries. Residents are individuals who reside within the Villages of Bradley IL, Bourbonnais IL, and all of Bourbonnais Township.

Registrations are accepted on a First Come, First Pay basis. Registrations will not be considered accepted until payment of all fees has been made. Individuals living within Bourbonnais Township have priority in registering for programs and may register upon reciept of the seasonal recreation guide or program book.

The Bourbonnais Township Park District reserves the right to request and require proof of residency in the form of a current utility bill or a driver's license.

Registrations are accepted at the Recreation Station, Exploration Station...a children's museum or Perry Farm House during normal business hours. An after hours drop box is available at the Perry Farm House. Please call (815) 933-9905 with any questions.

In the event that a program is cancelled, postponed, or changed, you will be notified by telephone. You will have the option to trasfer to another class, a refund pursuant to policy, or recieve a credit voucher.

A $10.00 charge will be assessed for all checks and charges returned.

Min/Max: Its Meaning and Impact
There is a minimum and maximum enrollment number for many of the park district programs. Programs may be canceled or postponed if they do not meet the minimum enrollment number. If enough participants do not register for a program , the Park District does not wish to lose money -your money- so the program will be cancelled.

Maximum enrollment numbers are set to assure a quality program for those participating. If a program meets its maximum enrollment number before a registration deadline, the registration may close prior to that deadline.
Waiting lists may be taken if a program has reached its maximum enrollment number and an attempt will be made to accommodate interested persons.
The minimum enrollment number is the first number shown after "min/max" and the maximum enrollment number is the second number shown.
If numbers are not indicted there is no set minimum or maximum program number required.

Changes, Postponements and Cancellations
Programs are subject to change or may be cancelled for a variety of reasons. The Bourbonnais Township Park District reserves the right to change as necessary the program instructors, content and/ or schedules or to cancel or postpone programs due to lack of registration. Some of these changes may affect activities listed on this site, but do not always warrent a refund. Cancellations or postponements will be made for programs not meeting the minimum registration number THREE DAYS prior to the first start date of the program. Participants registered in a cancelled program will be provided with the opportunity to transfer to another program, recieve a refund pursuant to policy or recieve a credit voucher for future use in a program.

Transfer/Refund/Credit Voucher Policy
Persons wishing to withdraw from a program may transfer to another program, recieve a refund, or recieve a credit voucher for future use in a program PROVIDED that the withdrawal was issued at least 48 hours prior to the start date of a program. No transfers, refunds, or credit vouchers will be given if a withdrawl is made less than 48 hours prior to the start date of a program. After a program has begun, a transfer, refund, or credit voucher will be issued only for medical or unavoidable circumstances (i.e., job transfer, change in working hours, death in the family, etc.). Some type of written proof may be required. Requests must be made within seven days of your first absence from a program. Refunds will be processed and mailed out within twenty days of such verified requests. Transfers, refunds, or credit vouchers will NOT be issued to those participants who misbehave and have left a program. No transfers, refunds, or credit vouchers will be issuded after a trip deadline has passed.

Note: By registering for Park District programs, registrants should realize the inherent risks involved in the programs and appreciate the nature of the risks. The Bourbonnais Township Park District does not carry medical or accident insurance for program participants- the cost would make program fees prohibitive. Please review your own personal insurance coverage to be certain that you and your family have adequate coverage. Participants registering for activities of a strenuous nature are encouraged to seek a physician's prior approval. Each registrant is required to read and execute for themselves or their dependents a WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS AND PERMISSION TO SECURE TREATMENT prior to the participation in a Park District program.
