Through
the Living Memorial Program offered by the Bourbonnais Township
Park District, trees can be purchased and planted, or adopted,
to celebrate and commemorate people, organizations or special
events such as birthdays or anniversaries.
Purchasers
of Living Memorials may choose from an assortment of trees to
be planted on the Perry Farm Park. Memorial trees, once planted,
will be a living remembrance that will also benefit the community
for many years to come.
The Living
Memorial Program is not only a great way to remember those who
have passed away or to celebrate birth, but a great way to beautify
the park and help the environment. A commemorative plaque will
be installed for display at the base of your tree at the time
of planting.
How
the Program Works:
1. Come
and meet with the Groundskeeper of the Bourbonnais Township
Park District to view the site and discuss the variety of trees
available for planting.
2. Complete
and return the Living Memorial
Form to the BTPD Administrative office at the Perry Farm
House.
3. A minimum
donation is required for the purchase an ornamental or shade
tree 1 1/2" diameter.:
4. If you
wish to be present for the planning of the tree, please mark
the Living Memorial Form
and we will contact you accordingly.
5. Trees
can be purchased anytime throughout the year. However, planting
will only take place in the Spring and the Fall of each year.
All plantings a subject to weather conditions.
For questions
reguarding the Living Memorial program please contact the Perry

trees are guaranteed by the Bourbonnais Township Park District
for a period of five (5) years. If your tree does not survive
during the first five years of its growth period, a new tree
of the same size and variety will be planted by the Park District.
