Adult Softball Leagues

1st Annual B.T.P.D. Snow Softball Tournament

General Information
We are putting on a one day Snow Softball Tournament on Saturday, February 4th at Diamond Point Park. It will be a double elimination tournament with a cash payout(s). We want this to be a fun offseason tournament for everyone so entry fee is only $150 per team.

Games will begin at 9am. $25 of your entry fee will go towards the cash payout. This tournament is open to any Men’s team and we will need a minimum of 6 teams to run the tournament.

Teams will be sanctioned through the NSA and we will use NSA umpires along with our in-house rules for the tournament. There will be one major change to the ball and strike count. Batters will only be allowed one strike and two balls (all batters will be allowed one foul ball per at bat), this is done to keep the game moving along in the cold weather.

I have attached official tournament rules, registration forms and roster forms. These can also be found on our website. Registration forms and full payment will be due by Tuesday, January 31st. Brackets will be available on Wednesday, February 1st. Again we need a minimum of 6 teams to have a tournament. Tournament seeding will be assigned at random.

2011 Fall Softball League Information

General Information
All games will be played at Diamond Point Park featuring four total softball diamonds, two lighted diamonds, and fenced in dugouts. First game will start at 6:00 p.m. Diamond Point Park is an alcohol free park. 2011 leagues include:

• 12 regular season games
• Season ending double elimination tournament
• 2 Sanctioned NSA Umpires per game
• 2 games per night
• Updated Schedules and Standings

Registration Information

Registration begins: Monday, May 23

Early Bird Registration deadline: Saturday, July 16

League Registration deadline: Saturday, August 6

Registration Fees
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required upon registration. The remainder of your balance will be due by Saturday, August 6. If the remainder of your teams deposit is not paid by August 6, your spot in the league may be forfeited.

Early Bird Fee: $575 + $25 NSA Sanctioning Fee

Regular Registration Fee: $625 + $25 NSA Sanctioning Fee

Please note, all rules will be discussed at the Pre-Season Captains Meeting and may be changed. It is the responsibility of the team manager(s) to know all rules and ensure that all players know these rules.

Diamond Point Park
All games will be played at our newly acquired 60.3 acre Diamond Point Park. Located on Career Center Road in Bourbonnais, Diamond Point Park features a total of six ball diamonds with four lighted ball diamonds. Take a look at the progress that has already been made at Diamond Point Park since its acquisition in August 2009.
