(occasionally closed for private events)

Rentals, Parties and Group visits are available
on Mondays and Tuesdays with reservations.

Fishing Reminder
The ponds at Whispering Willows park are only open for fishing during programs and scheduled events. There are no open fishing days during the winter and ice fishing is not allowed due to safety reasons. Open fishing days this spring will be March 23-25, April 6-8 and May 26-28. Catch and Release Fishing only. Please remember that the ponds are explored by program participants so all fishing supplies and trash need to be pickup.

School/Group programs Willowhaven Interpretive Center offers programs for Pre-K-12th grade on a variety of nature related topics. Programs are lead by interpretive center staff and are designed to meet Illinois Learning Standards. Click here for school/group programs available for 2012! Willowhaven Rental Opportunities The Willowhaven Interpretive Center is a restored 1900's barn that transforms into a spectacular location to host a graduation, wedding, bridal or baby shower, family gathering, or business meeting.
